PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON CHAIR OF SEJM POLAND-PHILIPPINES PARLIAMENTARY GROUP
07 June 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Poland Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz paid a courtesy call on Mr. Zbigniew Chmielowiecz, Chairman of the Sejm Poland-Philippines Parliamentary Group, who was accompanied by Ms. Anna Romsicka, Secretary of the ASEAN States’ Parliamentary Groups at the Sejm.
Ambassador Ruiz highlighted the latest developments in bilateral relations and expressed the hope that exchanges of parliamentary visits would continue to take place between Poland and the Philippines, particularly in view of the forthcoming celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment Relations on 22 September 2023.
Mr. Chmielowiecz said that the newly-constituted Poland-Philippines Parliamentary Group at the Sejm looks forward to cooperating actively with the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
