A. Filipino who intends to marry a foreign national
A Filipino who intends to marry a foreign national in Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia or Ukraine shall secure a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage (LCCM) from the Embassy and comply with the other prescribed requirements of the country where he or she intends to marry.
How to Apply
The Filipino applicant shall apply in person for the Certification on his or her appointment date. To make an appointment, click here.
NOTE: The LCCM Certificate application is posted for at least ten (10) working days before an LCCM certificate is issued. From the date issued, the LCCM certificate is valid for 120 days.
Requirements
Please note that the Embassy will keep the original submitted documents.
- Submission of duly filled out Application form.
- Recent passport-size colored photos – one each for applicant and prospective spouse.
- Original, plus one (1) copy of applicant’s DFA-apostilled Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
- Original, plus one (1) copy of applicant’s DFA-apostilled Certificate of No Marriage record (CENOMAR) issued by the PSA.
- Original, plus one (1) copy of the DFA-apostilled Affidavit of Parental Consent issued by applicant’s parents (if applicant is from 18 to 21 years of age).
- Original, plus one (1) copy of the DFA-apostilled Affidavit of Parental Advice issued by applicant’s parents (if applicant is from 22 to 25 years of age).
- Original apostilled copy plus one (1) copy of prospective spouse’s Birth Certificate (with English translation if Polish document is not readable in English / has no English subtitles).
- Original apostilled copy plus one (1) photocopy of Certificate of Marital Status of prospective spouse, with English translation.
- Original copy plus one (1) copy of the passport data page - one each for the applicant and prospective spouse.
- Other relevant documents as may be determined by the consular officer.

B. Filipino who intends to marry another Filipino national
Both Filipinos shall apply individually and secure a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage (LCCM). The process of application, requirements, and applicable fees are the same.
Should they wish, their marriage may be solemnized, provided it is between one male and one female, both parties are Filipino citizens at the time, and the ceremony will take place within the premises of the Philippine Embassy.
The applicants shall coordinate with the Embassy on the date and time of marriage solemnization. They should also provide information about the names and addresses of their witnesses.

NOTE: The Notice of Marriage is posted for at least ten (10) working days before the solemnization of marriage at the Embassy.
C. Filipino who intends to marry a foreign national in the Philippines or outside the jurisdiction of the Embassy
It is the applicants' responsibility to seek out and comply with the prescribed requirements in the Philippines or the country where he or she intends to marry.
After the Celebration of Marriage
After the celebration of marriage, the parties shall report their marriage to the Embassy accordingly.
How to Report
The Filipino party/applicant shall report the marriage in person on his or her appointment date. To make an appointment, click here.
The reporting party may request a PSA-authenticated copy of the Marriage Certificate after three (3) to six (6) months from the date of marriage at www.psaserbilis.com.ph.
