PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH THE DIRECTOR GENERAL FOR THE SECOND BILATERAL RELATIONS DIRECTORATE OF MFA LATVIA
20 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Latvia Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with Ambassador Nils Jansons, Director General for the Second Bilateral Relations Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, during her official visit to Riga on 20-22 October 2022.

Ambassador Ruiz reiterated her deep appreciation to Ambassador Jansons for the excellent and active cooperation which enabled both sides to commemorate virtually the milestone 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations last 17 December 2021.
The meeting agreed to intensify bilateral interaction and collaboration in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, education, science and technology, arts and culture, particularly among the chambers of commerce and industry and universities and cultural institutions.
