PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE LATVIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

20 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Latvia Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with the President of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Aigars Rostovski during her official visit to Riga on 20-22 October 2022.

Ambassador Ruiz presented the highlights of Philippines-Latvia relations, trade statistics and data, as well as legislations that aim to improve foreign investment flows into the Philippines. The meeting discussed possible activities to promote networking among Philippine and Latvian businesses and to increase awareness of trade and investment opportunities and also agreed to exchange information on forthcoming trade or tourism fairs.
