PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE LITHUANIAN CULTURE INSTITUTE

18 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with the Director of the Lithuanian Culture Institute Ms. Aušrinė Žilinskienė during her official visit to Vilnius on 16-19 October 2022, accompanied by her spouse Alejandro Ricardo Ruiz.

Director Žilinskienė briefed the Ambassador on LCI and its activities, who in turn presented highlights of Philippines-Lithuania relations. Noting that this is the first time that the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw is establishing contact with the LCI, Ambassador Ruiz stressed the intention of the Embassy to continue its networking with Lithuanian cultural institutions to promote cultural cooperation activities.
