PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE LITHUANIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ART

18 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Lithuania Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with the Director of the Lithuanian National Museum of Art Dr. Arūnas Gelūnas during her official visit to Vilnius on 16-19 October 2022, accompanied by her spouse Alejandro Ricardo Ruiz.

Ambassador Ruiz presented highlights on Philippines-Lithuania relations and also received a briefing on the Museum and its activities. Noting that this is the first time that the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw has established contact with the Lithuanian National Museum of Art, she also discussed with Dr. Gelūnas possible activities to promote cultural exchanges and collaboration between the Philippines and Lithuania.
