PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR TO LITHUANIA MEETS WITH THE RECTOR OF VILNIUS UNIVERSITY

18 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Lithuania Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with Vilnius University Rector Professor Rimvydas Petrauskas during her official visit to Vilnius on 16-19 October 2022. Prof. Petrauskas was accompanied during the meeting by the Pro-Rector for Partnerships Dr. Artūras Vasiliauskas.

Ambassador Ruiz presented the highlights of Philippines-Lithuania relations and stressed that the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw was interested to establish contact with the University for the first time in order to explore possibilities for academic exchanges and research cooperation between the two countries. Both sides agreed to continue their interactions towards this end.
