PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH THE ADVISER TO THE PRESIDENT OF LITHUANIA FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS
17 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Lithuania Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with Mrs. Dalia Tamošiūnienė, the Adviser to the President of the Republic of Lithuania, during her official visit to Vilnius on 16-19 October 2022.
Ambassador Ruiz briefed Mrs. Tamošiūnienė on the latest developments in Philippines-Lithuania relations, particularly the virtual celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment relations last 15 December 2021, and the Embassy’s continuing efforts to promote official, business, academic and cultural contacts to intensify relations.
Ambassador Ruiz also took the opportunity to present a Philippine gift for H.E. President Gitanas Nausėda to commemorate the milestone 30th anniversary of Philippines-Lithuania relations, consisting of a framed metal art décor featuring the iconic Philippine Jeepney.
