PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR TO LITHUANIA MEETS WITH MFA LITHUANIA DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF LATIN AMERICA, AFRICA AND ASIA PACIFIC DEPARTMENT
17 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Lithuania Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with Mrs. Rasa Bubeliene, Deputy Director of Latin America, Africa and Asia Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania during her official visit to Vilnius on 16-19 October 2022.
Ambassador Ruiz reiterated the deep appreciation of the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw for the excellent and active cooperation of the Ministry which enabled both sides to successfully celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Lithuania last 15 December 2021.
Both sides agreed to intensify mutual efforts to promote bilateral interaction and collaboration in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, education, arts and culture, and encourage academic exchanges and people-to-people linkages.
