PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR TO LITHUANIA MEETS WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF LITHUANIAN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRY AND CRAFTS

17 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Lithuania Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz conducted an official visit to Vilnius and met with Mr. Sigitas Gailiūnas, Acting President, Association of Lithuania Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (ALCCIC) to discuss ways to promote trade and investment cooperation between the Philippines and Lithuania.

Ambassador Ruiz provided an overview of the latest trade exchanges and shared private sector presentations on the business environment in the Philippines, highlighting the recent passage of legislations that aim to improve foreign investment inflows into the country. Both sides agreed to exchange information on trade and tourism fairs and initiate the organization of B2B seminars/webinars in the future.
