PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR TO POLAND MEETS WITH THE MAYOR OF KRAKÓW
25 August 2022 – Philippine Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz called on the Mayor of Kraków Professor Jacek Majchrowski during her official visit to the City of Kraków in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Ambassador Ruiz briefed Mayor Majchrowski on Philippines-Poland relations and highlighted the forthcoming 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two countries on 22 September 2023.
Ambassador Ruiz noted that Kraków’s bustling hospitality and services sector as well as world-renowned universities provide opportunities for developing more people-to-people linkages between Poland and the Philippines.
Ambassador Ruiz, who was accompanied by her spouse Alejandro Ricardo Ruiz and daughter Michaela Alexandra Ruiz, was invited to sign the Mayor’s Guest Book and capped her visit with the presentation of Philippine promotional native gifts and tourism brochures.
