PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN WARSAW REPATRIATES OFW FROM UKRAINE
Consul General Mardomel Melicor sends off an OFW from Ukraine as he departs for Manila via the Warsaw Frederick Chopin Airport.
On 05 May 2022, one of the very few remaining Filipinos in Ukraine left behind his Ukranian family and availed of the Philippine Government’s repatriation program.
He conveyed his appreciation to the Embassy for its concern for his and his family’s welfare and also expressed the hope that the war will end soon and he can be reunited with his wife and newly-born child.
The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw continues to monitor and assist any Filipino national who is still in Ukraine to safely go home to the Philippines. END
