PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN WARSAW PARTICIPATES IN THE COMMEMORATION OF ANZAC DAY 2022

 

The Embassy of the Philippines in Warsaw participated in the ANZAC Day commemoration held on 25 April 2022 at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Piłsudski Square in Warsaw, led by New Zealand Ambassador Alana Hudson and Australian Ambassador Lloyd Brodrick.

The event was attended by, among others, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the diplomatic corps. Philippine Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz participated in the wreath-laying ceremony as a gesture of solidarity in the commemoration of all Australians and New Zealanders who “died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations” and the contribution and suffering of all those who have served”.
