PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN WARSAW CONDUCTS THE FIRST-EVER CONSULAR OUTREACH ACTIVITY IN SŁUPSK, POLAND

14 August 2021 - A five-member team from the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw traveled 532 kilometers to the city of Słupsk in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland to render consular and OV services to Filipinos living and working in the city and neighboring areas.

The consular outreach, which was held at the Hotel Atena on Saturday, 14 August 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., was attended by 57 Filipinos.

A total of 148 consular services were rendered, including OV registration, as well as POLO services rendered by Labor Attaché Delmer R. Cruz and Labor Assistant Rene Mangune of POLO Berlin who joined the Embassy in the Słupsk outreach.

The Słupsk consular outreach is part of the ongoing efforts of the Philippine Embassy to provide consular services to Filipinos who are unable to travel to Warsaw during the regular work weekdays.

The Embassy team was composed of Consul General Mardomel Celo Melicor (Team Leader), Finance Officer Marden Garduque, Acting Consular Assistant Imelda de Joya, Information Officer Chloe Silverio and OV-VRM Operator Roberto Reyes.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the consular outreach activity was conducted in strict compliance with health and safety regulations in Poland.
