PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN WARSAW CONDUCTS THE FIRST-EVER CONSULAR OUTREACH ACTIVITY IN SZCZECIN, POLAND

31 July 2021 - A 5-member team from the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw traveled 576 kilometers to the city of Szczecin in the province of West Pomerania to render consular and OV services to Filipinos living and working in the city and neighboring areas.

The consular outreach, which was held on Saturday, 31 July 2021 at the Hotel Rycerski from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. was attended by a total of 56 Filipinos plus 10 other Filipinos who were able to claim their new Philippine passports.

The Filipino clients availed of various passport and notarial services as well as OV registration services and also consulted the Consul General regarding consular and labor matters.

The Szczecin consular outreach is part of the ongoing Consular Sunday Program of the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw which aims to provide consular services to Filipinos who are unable to avail of these services during the regular work weekdays.

The Embassy team that traveled to Szczecin was led by Consul General Mardomel Celo Melicor and was composed of Finance Officer Marden Garduque, Acting Consular Assistant Imelda de Joya, Information Officer Chloe Silverio and OV-VRM Operator Roberto Reyes.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the consular outreach activity was conducted in strict compliance with health and safety regulations in Poland.
