PH Ambassador to Poland Calls On Poland Senate Marshal

Philippine Ambassador to Poland Leah M. Basinang–Ruiz called on the Senate Marshal of Poland Dr. Tomasz Paweł Grodzki in his Senate Office on 03 July 2020, to discuss ways to promote closer Philippine-Poland relations, particularly through more exchanges of visits between the parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries.

The Senate Marshal of Poland welcomed the initiatives of the Philippine Embassy and stressed that the Senate would be interested to visit the Philippines once the global health situation has stabilized. In the meantime, Senate Marshal, Dr. Grodzki, extends his warm greetings and best wishes to his counterparts in the Philippines.

Dr. Grodzki, who is an eye doctor and surgeon, was elected Senate Marshal on 12 November 2019. He was first elected to the Senate in the 2015 parliamentary elections and renewed his senatorial seat in the October 2019 elections. END
