On 14 February 2020, Ambassador Leah M. Basinang–Ruiz called on the MFA Undersecretary of State for Economic Diplomacy, Development Cooperation and EU Law, H.E. Mr. Paweł Jabłoński to discuss various initiatives to deepen economic and people-to-people ties between the Philippines and Poland. The meeting was attended by Counsellor Zenon Kosiniak-Kamysz of the Department of Economic Cooperation and Deputy Director Tomasz Kobzdej of the Asia Pacific Department. Ambassador Ruiz provided Mr. Jabłoński with a copy of the OUIER infographic on Philippines-Poland Bilateral Relations to commence the discussion.

To convey her appreciation, Ambassador Ruiz presented Undersecretary Jabłoński with a gift-wrapped medium size Capiz Banana Leaf Bowl and also received from the latter, two books entitled “Polish Culinary Paths” and “About Polska.”
