Warsaw_Philippine Embassy in Warsaw in partnership with International Organization for Migration (IOM) held a forum for the Filipino community in Poland on 30 September 2018.
The event commenced with video showing of “Rehabinasyon” to raise awareness of Filcom members in the war against drugs. It was followed by video showing “Peace ta Peace tayo” to inform the audience of the government’s effort in the peace process.
Immigration Specialist Mr. Konstanty Sawczenko discussed the process of legalization of the stay of foreigners in Poland from visa to citizenship. This consist of different types and samples of visas issued by Poland, purpose of each visa and the border crossing procedures.
Mr. Sawczenko explained the three (3) kinds of residence permits: temporary residence permit, permanent residence permit and long term residence of the EU permit. He also enumerated the procedure for each permits, the required documents and fees.
Lastly, Mr. Sawczenko informed the members of Filcom on Polish citizenship, granting and recognition of Polish citizenship and basic documents.
