Philippine Embassy in Warsaw and Polish officials of the Ministry Family, Labour and Social Policy agreed to forge bilateral agreements on labor and social security cooperation.
Philippine Ambassador to Poland Ms. Patricia Ann Paez and Deputy Minister Stanislaw Szwed of the Ministry Family, Labour and Social Policy discussed these matters in today’s meeting at the Ministry and both agreed to work on the drafts of said agreements prior to their signing by Philippine and Polish officials.
Deputy Minister Szwed stated that Poland needs Filipino workers in the IT, construction and nursing sectors.
Also in the meeting were personnel of the Embassy namely, Consul Alnee Gamble and Ms. Imelda de Joya. Other Polish officials who participated in the meeting were Director Ms. Monika Szostak, Deputy Director Ms. Magadalena Swekiej and Ms. Iga Wermińska – Wiśnicka.
