WARSAW______ The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw, specifically its Political Officer Mr. Ramon Ebalo, gave a briefing on I-Rehistro and the procedures concerning the continuing overseas voting registration for the 13 May 2019 national elections to members of the Filipino community during the “Pulong Bayan” (townhall meeting) held last Sunday, 11 February 2018 at the embassy.
Mr. Ebalo advised those Filipinos who have not yet registered as a voter to register at the embassy anytime from Monday to Friday starting at 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. For those who are presently in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, or Estonia but who had previously registered as a voter in another country may have their registration transferred to Warsaw by re-registering with the embassy, any day from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
The last day for voter’s registration is on 30 September 2018.
Those who will cast their ballots on 13 May 2018 at the embassy must bring any of the following identification documents: a voter’s ID, a passport or any kind of identification card.
As in previous elections, the embassy invites the public to witness the counting of votes at the embassy which will immediately begin at the end of the prescribed voting time. (END)
