Philippine booth at the World Travel Show
The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw participated in the World Travel Show International Trade Fair organized by PTAK Warsaw Expo held from 14 to 16 October 2016 at the PTAK International Exhibition and Congress Center in Nadarzyn, Poland.
World Travel Show is a trade event dedicated to all companies and individuals operating in the tourism and travel industry. It is a perfect place for national marketing performance of foreign countries and regions. It aims to organize international trade fairs, exhibitions, congresses, conferences and commercial events and creates business opportunities to establish partnerships and find new clients.
The co-exhibitor, Polish tour operator Opal Travel, displayed tour packages in the Philippines.
There were approximately 750 visitors who visited the Philippine booth and inquired about tourist sites and activities in the country. Some of them expressed interest in beaches, water activities and quiet places to visit for relaxation while other visitors offered different forms of advertisement through magazines and on-line platforms.
The Philippine Embassy’s objective was to accelerate the momentum of its campaign to enhance awareness about the Philippines in Poland, to project a positive profile of the Philippines, and to help boost the number of Polish tourists to the country as part of the government’s “Visit the Philippines Again 2016” campaign.
The Philippine Embassy distributed souvenir bags containing the “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” brochures in Polish language, CDs of Philippine classic love songs and list of Philippine travel agencies specializing in the European market.
The videos of “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” and World Economic Forum (WEF) was continuously played during the 3-day fair.
