The Philippine Embassy in Poland conducted a joint tourism promotion with Emirates Airlines held at the InAzia restaurant in Sheraton Warsaw Hotel on 06 April 2016.
Emirates Airlines launched its daily round trip flights from Dubai to Cebu (CEB) and Clark (CRK) in the Philippines last 30 March 2016 which will strengthen international connectivity to two of the Philippines’ fastest-growing international hubs.
Philippine envoy to Poland Ambassador Patricia Ann V. Paez and EA Account Manager Mr. Maciej Pyrka gave their welcome remarks in the event attended by thirty-seven (37) Polish tour operators/travel agents of the following companies: NU Horizons; OBP Incentive & Sport Travel; New Point Incentive Travel; InDreams Incentive Programs; Travel-Bidder Group; Klub Sportowy Grzegorzecki; Firma Sawicki S.C.; Prestige Tours; Opal Travel; United Partners; Boomerang; United Target; Mazurkas Incentive Travel; Nautica Incentive & Adventure; Teatr Polski; Luxury Travel; Wezyr Holidays; Time 4 Travel; Weco-Travel; Haxel Events & Incentive Sp. As part of its “culinary diplomacy,” the Philippine Embassy hosted a modest reception featuring the Philippine cuisine such as adobo, lumpiang prito, lumpiang ubod, turon, and buchi. It also distributed small token gift paper bags containing CDs of classic Philippine love songs; brochures of It’s More Fun in the Philippines in Polish language as well as of Cebu, Bohol, Palawan, and the Cordillera Region; and list of Philippine travel agencies specializing in the European Market.
