The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw participated in the 23rd International Travel Show called Targi Turystyczne (TT) Warsaw 2015 held from 26 to 28 November 2015 at the Trade Fair and Congress Center MT Polska. TT Warsaw is a major international event for the tourist industry, focused on establishing commercial and business contacts with businesses from Poland and abroad. It offers an exceptional opportunity to present the tourist offer of countries and regions from all over the world, and to promote Poland’s tourism potential in the international stage. The co-exhibitors, Polish tour operators Opal travel and Nowak Adventure, promoted tour packages for the Philippines. Approximately 900 visited the Philippine booth and inquired about tourist sites and activities in the country. Some of them expressed interest in beaches, water activities and quiet places to visit for relaxation. A number asked for the list of trusted travel agencies in the Philippines which they could partner with the future. The Philippine Embassy distributed souvenir bags containing the “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” brochures in Polish language and CDs of Philippine classic love songs to the visitors who showed interest in the Philippines. The video of “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” was continuously played during the 3-day fair. The Philippine Embassy also offered a sampling of the Philippine dish “lumpiang prito” (fried spring rolls).
