Ambassador Paez gave an overview about the Philippines to the Polish tour operators/travel agents
The Philippine Embassy and Qatar Airways in Poland conducted a joint tourism promotion be-fore twenty-six (26) Polish tour operators/travel agents held at the InAzia restaurant in Sheraton Warsaw Hotel on 24 November 2015. Philippine envoy to Poland Ambassador Patricia Ann V. Paez gave an overview of the Philip-pines citing the country’s present economy and the economic dynamism between Philippines and Poland as her welcome remarks. Tourism AttachéMr. Dakila Gonzales based in Frankfurt featured photos highlighting various Philippine tourism destinations and showed the“It’s More Fun in the Philippines”video. Account Manager of QA Poland Mr. Krszystof Steiman, a recent Philippine visitor, presented photos of the places he visited such as Baguio City, Ilocos region, Bohol, Cebu and Palawan. Country Manager of QA Poland, Mr. Grzegorz Karolewski shared information about the fleets and flights offered by QA and its connectivity to the Philippines. The Philippine Embassy hosted a modest reception showcasing the Philippine cuisine such as adobo, lumpiang prito, lumpiang ubod, turon, buchi and served Philippine mango puree as re-freshment. It also distributed small token gift paper bags containing CDs of classic Philippine love songs, It’s More Fun in the Philippines brochures, a pack of Philippine dried mangoes, bot-tles of San Miguel Beer and planners from QA. At the end of the program, three (3) Polish tour operators won Philippine vodka –VuQo.
