The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw gave a presentation on the Philippines before the members of the 4th Action Diplomacy Group last 10 April 2015 at the Philippine Embassy.

Ms. Catherine B. Ramintas, the Embassy’s Cultural Officer together with Ms. Rachelle Javier-Gonzales gave an overview on current Philippine political and economic conditions; a bird’s eye-view on trade opportunities for Polish traders/businesses as well as brief information on the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

The presentation featured the DOT video of “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”. The Embassy also mounted the cultural exhibit entitled “The Philippines: The Making of a Nation”including posters of Philippine tourist attractions.

Philippine tourism brochures and CDs including a CD of Kundimansongs were also distributed with a sample of the Philippine dried mango balls.

The Embassy hosted a modest reception of puto, bibingka (rice cake) and lumpiangshanghai, and Philippine mango juice after the presentation.

Twenty (20)students from various universities in Warsaw participated in the event.
