The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw pursued economic diplomacy in Poznan, which is Poland’s third largest city, by meeting with the president of the Poznan Chamber of Commerce Mr. Andrzej Lyko, its Director Ms. Iwona Wesolek and with the President of the Poznan Business Club Mr. Henryk Judkowiak  last 29 July 2014 at the Chamber’s office.

   Amb. Paez gave an overview about the Philippines and the trade and investment opportunities in the country for Polish investors and traders (with the texts in Polish). The video “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” and slide photos of tourist attractions were also shown to the officials.

   The Poznan officials gave suggestions to enhance the presentation and committed to fully mobilize all their members for a meeting with Amb. Paez sometime during the third quarter of this year.

   Ms. Evelyn Vega and Mr. Jose Magaso accompanied Amb. Paez during her meeting in Poznan.
