PHILIPPINE EMBASSY CHAIRS THE ASEAN COMMITTEE IN WARSAW
14 January 2025, Warsaw - Philippine Ambassador to Poland Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz assumed the rotating six months chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Warsaw effective 1 January 2025 and hosted the first ACW meeting for the year on 14 January 2025 at the Regent Warsaw Hotel.
The meeting, which discussed possible ACW activities for the year, was also attended by the members of the Technical Working Group (TWG). It was followed by a lunch hosted by Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz and her spouse Mr. Alejandro Ricardo D. Ruiz to farewell the Malaysian Ambassador Dato’ Chitra Devi Ramiah and her spouse Mr. Rasli Ernest Sanmugan.
