PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN WARSAW ATTENDS THE PINAY IN POLAND EVENT TO CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH
10 March 2024 - The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw attended a Filipino community activity on 10 March 2024 entitled “Pinay in Poland” with the theme: “Marking Achievements, Recognitions, & Success”, which was held to celebrate the International Women’s Month
Ms. Najela Raymundo, the Embassy’s Alternate GAD Focal Point Officer, and Ms. Chloe Silverio, Cultural and Information Officer and FilCom Coordinator, represented the Embassy at the event which was organized by the Migrant Aid and Resources Society (MARS Project), a group of Filipinos living and working in Poland.
The group’s maiden project aimed to give recognition to prominent Filipino women in Poland for their resilience and for successfully overcoming the challenges they encountered as migrants.
The awards given to prominent and self-empowered Filipino women in Poland consisted of the following categories: Years of Stay Awards, Woman in Power, Woman in Action, Woman in Business, and Woman in Media. END
