PHILIPPINE EMBASSY JOINS THE AMBASSADORS’ CUP 2024 AT THE GROUND GOLF CLUB IN JÓZEFÓW
30 May 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw participated in the 2nd Edition of the Ambassador’s Cup on 20 May 2024 which was organized for members of the Spouses of Heads of Missions (SHOM) and their respective Spouses (Ambassadors) and children.
The whole-day event, which was held at the Ground Golf Club in Józefów, was under the Patronage of H.E. Dorj Barkhas, Ambassador of Mongolia, and his spouse Mrs. Enkhbayar Tumurbaatar. Special guests who attended and also delivered speeches were the Mayor of Józefów Mr. Marek Banaszek and Deputy Mayor Mr. Piotr Gąszcz.
Ambassador Barkhas and SHOM President Mr. Alejandro Ricardo D. Ruiz delivered welcome remakrs and then led the tee-off ceremony to start the tournament.
The Ambassadors and SHOM members from Algeria, Cyprus, Palestine, Greece, the Philippines, Romania, Luxembourg, Mongolia, Cuba, Egypt, and Turkey attended and participated in the Second Ground Golf Tournament. The occasion also served as a farewell gathering for Ambassador Barkhas and Mrs. Tumurbaatar who will end their tour of duty in the coming months. END
