PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR TO POLAND MEETS WITH THE VICE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

29 April 2024 – Philippine Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz met with Prof. Agata Jurkowska, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation of the University of Information Technology and Management (UITM) in Rzeszów, during her courtesy visit at the Embassy to discuss the possibility of UITM linking up and cooperating with interested partners in the Philippines.

Prof. Jurkowska introduced the UITM’s achievements during its thirty years of operation and experience, and conveyed UITM’s interest to explore possible areas for scientific and educational cooperation in order to further deepen cultural and educational relations between the Philippines and Poland. She was accompanied during the meeting by Ms. Małgorzata Wejsis-Gołębiak, Lecturer at the UITM-Department of Political and Administrative Sciences. END
