PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR TO POLAND LEAH M. BASINANG-RUIZ MEETS WITH PZL MIELEC OFFICIALS

14 March 2023 – Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz meets with officials of PZL Mielec at the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw on the occasion of their signing of Amendment 1 in the DND/AFP-PZL AUHAP Contract.

Both sides noted that the procurement by the Philippine Government of thirty-two s-70i Black Hawk combat utility helicopters from the PZL-Mielec of Poland is in addition to the sixteen units already delivered by the Polish aerospace manufacturer in two batches – in November 2020 and in October 2021. The newly-acquired military equipment is part of the ongoing Armed Forces of the Philippines Modernization Program. END
