PHILIPPINE PRODUCTS SHINE AT THE 2023 SHOM INTERNATIONAL CHARITY BAZAAR IN WARSAW

Warsaw, December 3, 2023 –The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw participated in the 2023 SHOM International Charity Bazaar, which was held at the COS Torwar, Warsaw on 03 December 2023.  The event, under the honorary patronage of the Polish President's wife, Mrs. Agata Kornhauser–Duda, was organized by the Association of Spouses of Heads of Diplomatic Missions (SHOM). 

The Philippine Embassy stall showcased Philippine Christmas Décors, Cebu Best Food Products (Dried Mangoes, Mango Chocolates, La Mesa Filipina Guisantes), as well as Philippine native bags and Philippine pearl jewelries (necklace, earrings, bracelets). Visitors also eagerly picked up Philippine tourism brochures that were displayed during the event.

The multi-colored and lighted Philippine Capiz Lantern from Pampanga which was donated by the Tourism and Investment Promotion Office of San Fernando, Pampanga provided a special attraction during the 16th SHOM International Charity Bazaar 2023 and drew admiring gazes from the international audience.
 

As in previous years, all proceeds from the SHOM Charity Christmas Bazaar will go to those most in need, supporting Polish charities that care for children, seniors, the sick and disabled people.

This year, a total of 54 embassies participated in the bazaar which were eagerly visited by at least 5,000 people, including government officials and private sector representatives at various times during the day. END
