PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR ATTENDS FAREWELL MEETING FOR DEAN OF DIPLOMATIC CORPS IN WARSAW
08 March 2023 – Philippine Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz joined the diplomatic heads of missions in Warsaw in attending the Farewell Meeting and Reception hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Zbigniew Rau to farewell the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps H.E. Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio who was about to conclude his tour of duty as Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Poland.
Ambassador Ruiz also conveyed her deep appreciation to the Papal Nuncio for his warm friendship and kindness to his diplomatic colleagues and their respective families, and his excellent performance as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Warsaw.
After being reminded by the Papal Nuncio during his speech that the day March 8 is being celebrated as International Women’s Day, all the women ambassadors present had the privilege of having a group photo with the H.E. the Dean and H.E. the Foreign Minister of Poland.
