PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR GREETS THE POLISH PRESIDENT DURING HIS NEW YEAR MEETING WITH THE DIPLOMATIC CORPS
Warsaw, 12 January 2023 – Philippine Ambassador Mrs. Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz, accompanied by her spouse Mr. Alejandro Ricardo D. Ruiz, attended the New Year Meeting hosted by Poland’s President H.E. Mr. Andrzej Duda for the Heads of the Diplomatic Missions accredited to the Republic of Poland on 12 January 2023.
Ambassador Ruiz conveyed the Philippines’ warmest greetings and best wishes to Their Excellencies President Duda and First Lady Madame Agata Kornhauser-Duda during the occasion. She was also able to greet the Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Zbigniew Rau and to highlight the forthcoming celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Philippines-Poland Diplomatic Relations on 22 September 2023.
The New Year’s Meeting was the first one to be held since the pandemic began in March 2020. END
