PHILIPPINE EMBASSY MEETS WITH TALLIN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

21 February 2023 – Philippine Ambassador to Estonia Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz, accompanied by First Secretary and Consul Alena Grace Borra, met with the Rector of Tallinn University of Technology Professor Tiit Land, during an official visit to Tallinn on 20-24 February 2023.

Ambassador Ruiz noted that the University has enrolled Filipino students in a number of critical bachelor and master degree programs (e.g., cyber security, technology governance and innovation, software engineering).

The meeting agreed that more work needs to be done in order to increase the number of Filipinos studying in universities in Estonia.
