ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 1/2023:
INVITATION TO ONLINE FINANCIAL LITERACY SESSIONS ON RETAIL TREASURY BONDS, 8-11 FEB 2023
The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw informs the Filipino Communities in Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine that the Philippine Bureau of Treasury (BTr) will be holding online financial literacy sessions on the topic of the 29th Tranche of Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB 29) from 08 to 11 February 2023.
The Philippine Government, through the BTr is set to offer the RTB 29 this February 2023. The RTB is designed to make government securities accessible to retail investors and is a 5-year, low-risk, fixed-income investment that will provide interest on a quarterly basis.
All overseas Filipino nationals are invited to join the webinars, which will cover details about RTB 29, the risks associated with the structure, and the ways to invest in the treasury bonds.
