The Embassy of the Philippines cordially invites the Filipino Community to attend the special screening of “An Open Door:  Holocaust Haven in the Philippines” on Sunday, 17 July 2016 at the Palace of Culture (Palac Kultury).  The film is directed and produced by Mr. Noel “Sonny” Izon.  Program starts at 6:00 pm and the film screening will be at 7:00 pm.

The 90-minute historical documentary showcases the enduring Filipino-Jew friendship and the true character of the Filipino people.

Inaanyayahan po ng Embahada ng Pilipinas ang ating mga Kababayan na manuod ng espesyal na pagpapalabas ng “An Open Door: Holocaust Haven in the Philippines” sa Linggo, ika-17 ng Hulyo sa Palace Culture of Science (Palac Kultury).  Ang pelikula ay idinerehe at ginawa ni Ginoong Noel “Sonny” Hizon.  Ang programa ay magsisimula sa ika-6 ng gabi habang ang pelikula ay ipapalabas sa ika -7 ng gabi.

Ang pelikula ay isang 90 minutong makasaysayang dokumentaryo tungkol sa matagal at walang hangganang pagkakaibigan ng mga Pilipino at Hudyo.  Ipinapakita nito ang tunay na katangian ng mga mamamayang Pilipino.
