The Philippine Embassy is pleased to announce that the City of Vigan has successfully hurdled the first phase of the elimination round in the search for the New 7 Wonder – Cities as announced on 07 July 2014. Vigan now competes with 21 other cities.

The next qualifying round started on 8 July 2014 and ends on 7 October 2014. In addition to the online voting via www.n7w.com/en/cities the New 7 Wonders Foundation opened its SMS and phone lines for the next voting phase. The following are the new additional processes;

      • For 1 vote, text Vigan and send to 29290777 on all OFW SIM / Philippine SIM cards;
      • For 10 votes, text Vigan10 and send to 29290777 on all OFW SIM/Philippine SIM cards or;
      • Dial any of the following international numbers for overseas telephone voting, press 21 to vote for Vigan, Philippines, to wit:

We seek the support of the Filipino Community in disseminating this information to our “kababayans” in Poland and to encourage them to support the city of VIGAN by voting online or through SMS as indicated above.
