This online search is the third global vote organized by New7Wonders that follows the success of the New7Wonders of the World and New7Wonders of Nature campaign that earned Puerto Princesa Underground River, Palawan a slot in 2012. This resulted in economic gains for the Philippines due to the increase in tourist arrivals, creation of business and employment opportunities.
