ADVISORY No. 12 - 2022
REVISED GUIDELINES ALLOWING ENTRY OF UNVACCINATED PERSONS
The Embassy is pleased to announce that less restrictive guidelines are now in place to ease travel restrictions for inbound travelers to the Philippines. Pursuant to IATF Resolution No 2 issued on 04 October 2022, the following are the revised testing, entry and quarantine guidelines for all persons travelling to the Philippines, effective 04 October 2022:
A. THOSE WHO ARE FULLY VACCINATED – must carry/possess any acceptable proof of vaccination such as, but not limited to:
- WHO International Certificate of Vaccination and Prophylaxis;
- VaxCertPH;
- National/State manual or digital certificate of the foreign government; or
- Other proofs of vaccination.
B. THOSE WHO ARE UNVACCINATED, PARTIALLY VACCINATED, OR WHOSE VACCINATION CANNOT BE INDEPENDENTLY VALIDATED
B.1 For 15 years or older
Present a remotely supervised, or laboratory-based rapid antigen negative test, administered and certified by healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, pharmacy, or any other similar establishment, taken within twenty-four (24) hours, prior to departure from country of origin/first port of embarkation, excluding layovers, provided, the passenger has not left the airport premises or was not admitted into the transit country.
B.2 For 15 years or older who failed to present negative pre-departure under item B.1
Undergo laboratory-based rapid antigen negative test, administered and certified by healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, pharmacy, or any other similar establishment, taken upon arrival at the airport.
B.3 For accompanied minors below 15 years of age who are not vaccinated:
Follow the quarantine protocol/s of their parents or an accompanying adult/guardian travelling with them.
B.4 For unaccompanied minors below 15 years of age who are not vaccinated:
Follow the protocols under items B.1 and B.2.
