REINSTATEMENT OF ALL PRE-PANDEMIC PROCEDURES
ON VISA ISSUANCE
The Embassy is pleased to announce to the traveling public that effective 01 April 2022, all Covid-19 restrictions on visa issuances are lifted and all pre-pandemic visa processes are reinstated by virtue of IATF Resolution No. 165 dated 24 March 2022. This concerns only the procedures for issuing visas or entering visa-free.
The entry, testing and quarantine protocols announced in Advisory No. 06/2022 will continue to be observed, as follows:
A) Foreign nationals (except Ukrainian nationals) entering with visas or visa-free must:
- be fully vaccinated except minor children below 12 years of age traveling with fully vaccinated foreign parent(s);
- carry / show an acceptable proof of vaccination;
- present a negative RT-PCR Test taken within forty-eight (48) hours or a negative laboratory-based Antigen Test taken within twenty-four (24) hours before departing the country of origin in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding layovers, provided the passenger has not left the airport premises or was not admitted into the transit country;
- have passports valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry;
- have a travel insurance for Covid-19 treatment costs with a minimum coverage of USD 35,000.00 for the duration of their stay in the Philippines; and
- have valid tickets for their onward / return journey:
- for nationals from visa-free countries – onward / return ticket not later than 30 days from date of arrival in the Philippines
- for nationals from visa-required countries – onward / return ticket within the allowed maximum stay in the Philippines
- for nationals allowed only a stay of fourteen (14) days or less – onward / return ticket within the allowed maximum stay in the Philippines.
NOTE: The following are exempted from #5 on travel insurance and #6 on return ticket requirements:

B) Ukrainian nationals must:
- be fully vaccinated except minor children below 12 years of age traveling with fully vaccinated foreign parent(s);
- carry / show an acceptable proof of vaccination;
- present a negative RT-PCR Test taken within forty-eight (48) hours or a negative laboratory-based Antigen Test taken within twenty-four (24) hours before departing the country of origin in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding layovers, provided the passenger has not left the airport premises or was not admitted into the transit country; and
- undergo seven (7) days of self-monitoring for symptoms, with the date of arrival being the first day.
(Ukrainian nationals are governed by CIR-869-OUCSCA-2022 dated 31 March 2022 in relation to IATF Resolution No. 165-D dated 31 March 2022).
