WARNING FOR THOSE TRAVELING TO THE PHILIPPINES VIA ISTANBUL

            The Philippine Embassy advises all passengers traveling to the Philippines with a stop-over at the Istanbul International Airport NOT TO TRAVEL ON BROKEN FLIGHTS WITH SEPARATE E-TICKETS on different airlines, to avoid being stranded at the Istanbul International Airport.

            The Philippine Consulate General in Istanbul has noted the increasing number of stranded Filipino passenger in Istanbul who have broken flights under separate e-tickets.  To avoid the inconvenience and cost of being stranded, always fly via Istanbul on Turkish Airlines only under one e-ticket, and not on separately ticketed connecting flights.

            Para po maiwasan ma stranded sa Istanbul Airport, mangyari po lamang na huwag bumiyahe na dumadaan ng Istanbul kung hindi isang e-ticket ng Turkish Airlines ang flight ninyo papunta at paalis ng Istanbul.
