TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ENTRY OF FOREIGN NATIONALS INTO THE PHILIPPINES

The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw wishes to announce that the Philippine National Task Force Against Covid-19 (NTF-Covid-19) issued a directive under Memorandum Circular No. 5 temporarily suspending travel into the Philippine of foreign nationals from 20 March 2021 to 19 April 2021.

Returning Overseas Filipinos who are not Overseas Filipino Workers (non-OFW ROFs) are likewise temporarily barred from entering the Philippines.

In the light of efforts to prevent the entry of SARS-CoV-2 variants from other countries and the further rise of infections, all concerned agencies have been directed to temporarily suspend the entry of Foreign Nationals and Returning Overseas Filipinos who are non-OFWs (non-OFW ROFs), except the following:

  1. Holders of special government official visas;
  2. Persons for medical repatriation and their escorts (duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration;
  3. Distressed returning overseas Filipinos (duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs); and
  4. Emergency, humanitarian and other analogous cases.

All those with valid visas or those intending to apply for visas are requested to please observe this four-week temporary no entry directive, and adjust or re-schedule their trips to the Philippines accordingly, in coordination with their airlines and their principals and hosts in the Philippines.
