The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw informs the Filipino Community that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) issued the following updates for NBI clearance application:
- The NBI has not authorized any private agency to conduct the processing NBI clearance applications.
- When abroad, Applicants for NBI clearance are required to proceed to the Philippine Foreign Service Posts for NBI form No. 5 to be stamped/sealed by the Posts.
- If Applicants can not avail of the service of the Philippine Foreign Service Posts, NBI may accept fingerprint impressions taken in a Police Station as long as the name of the office and the officer who conducted the fingerprinting likewise are stamped on the space provided for, complete with the designation of the officer and duly signed by said officer(s) . The stamp or seal of the offices mentioned must be affixed to confirm the validity and truthfulness of the application form.
For Filipino in Poland, please be advised that NBI Form No. 5 is available at the Consular Section of the Embassy. A Consular Assistant is also available to take fingerprint impressions.
