AVOID FLIGHTS TO THE PHILIPPINES PASSING THROUGH OTHER EU COUNTRIES

The Philippine Embassy in Poland urgently advises all Filipino citizens traveling from Poland to the Philippines to avoid flights to the Philippines that pass through other EU countries.

This is to avoid the inconvenience of being held up or detained by immigration officials and missing their connecting flights while transiting at the airports of other EU countries which do not recognize or are not aware of the automatic extension by Poland of visas that expired during the state of epidemic.

If Filipino citizens with expired Polish visas must depart Poland through other EU cities, the Embassy requests them to inform the Embassy at least 2 days in advance of their travel dates so that the Embassy can advise and assist them accordingly.
