Financial Assistance to OFWs Affected by COVID-19
27 March 2020 - The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw wishes to inform the public that the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced a one-time financial assistance package for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic on 25 March 2020.
Details and further information regarding this financial assistance may be obtained from the following:
- For OFWs in Poland: The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Geneva; and
- For OFWs in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine: DOLE's official Facebook site, or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) regional office closest to their families in the Philippines. (END)
