On 25 June 2025, the DFA Office of Cultural Diplomacy, in support of the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, organized the launch of "From the Philippines to the World: A Global Catalogue of Philippine Studies Programs Abroad Promoting Academic Excellence and Cultural Diplomacy" at the Centro de Turismo, Intramuros.

Attended by embassies, cultural stakeholders, and members of the academe, the event highlighted the progress of Philippine Studies programs across 24 universities abroad and promoted Philippine cultural heritage, with a special performance of Filipino music by the PIMA Guitar Quartet—marking the event a significant step in the globalization of Philippine studies.
